Sina Azodi is a political scientist, and an Assistant Professor of Middle East Politics at the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University. He is the Program Director for M.A. in Middle East Studies. He teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses on nuclear weapons,  international security, Iranian foreign policy and national security strategy. 

Dr. Azodi's  interests include international relations theory, nuclear non-proliferation,  U.S.-Iranian relations and Iran's nuclear and foreign policies. Sina's doctoral  dissertation focused on the evolution of Iran's nuclear program since its inception in 1950s. 

His book, Iran and the Bomb: the United States, Iran and the Nuclear Question is the first comprehensive analysis of Iran's nuclear program that engages with primary Iranian and American sources. 

A double alumnus of George Washington University, Sina Azodii received his B.A. & M.A. in International Relations from the Elliott School of International Affairs, and  a PhD in Government and International Politics from University of South Florida.
